Koncepti i ketij artisti pershkruan sistemin planetar te pulsareve te zbuluar nga Aleksander Wolszczan ne vitin 1992. Wolszczan perdori radio teleskopin Arecibo ne Puerto Rico per te gjetur tre planete – te paret te ketij lloji te gjetur ndonjehere jashte sistemit tone diellor – qe rrotullohen rreth nje pulsari te quajtur PSR B1257 + 12. Pulsaret jane yje neutron qe rrotullohen me shpejtesi, te cilet jane shembja e berthamave te yjeve masiv qe shperthejne. Ata rotullohen dhe impulsojne me rrezatim, ashtu si nje fener i cili ndodhet shume large. Ketu, fusha magnetike e shtremberuar e pulsarve jane theksuar nga shkelqimi blu.
Te tre planetet e Pulsarit jane paraqitur ne kete foto; 2 planetet me te larget nga pulsari (te cilet jane afer ne kete pikepamje) jane ne lidhje me madhesine e Tokes. Rrezatimi nga grimcat e ngarkuara te Pulsarit ndoshta bien poshte ne keto planete, duke shkaktuar qe qielli e tyre gjate nates te jete ne drite me aurora te ngjashme me me ato te toke. Nje aurore e tille eshte ilustruar ne nje planet ne fund te fotos.
