Ky imazh marre nga anija Dawn e NASA-s tregon terrene te karekterizuara ne planetin xhuxh Ceres. Nje brez i ndritshem eshte i dukshem ne nje seksion te kraterit (ne fund te imazhit), dhe prane ne kulmin e saj qendror.
Imazhi eshte i perqendruar ne 63 grade gjeresi veriore, 53 grade gjatesi lindore.
Dawn e mori kete imazh me 12 qershor 2016, nga nje lartesi e ulet ne orbiten e saj, ne nje distance prej rreth 240 milje (385 kilometra) mbi siperfaqe. Rezoluta e Imazhit eshte 120 kembe (35 metra) per pixel.
Misioni Dawn menaxhohet nga JPL per Drejtorine e Shkences te NASA-s ne Uashington. Dawn eshte nje projekt i Programit ”Discovery” te drejtorise se shkences, menaxhuar nga qendra hapesinore Marshall e NASA-s ne Huntsville, Alabama. UCLA eshte pergjegjes per shkencen e pergjithshme te misionit Dawn. Orbital ATK, Inc, ne Dulles, Virxhinia,kane projektuar dhe ndertuar anijen.
