Ceres ne Ngjyra

Ky imazh i Ceres perafron se si ngjyrat e planetit xhuxh Ceres do te shfaqeshin per syrin tone. Kjo pikepamje e Ceres, e prodhuar nga Qendra aerohapesinore gjermane ne Berlin, kombinon imazhe te marra gjate orbites se pare shkencore te Dawn ne vitin 2015 duke perdorur filtra fantazme te kuqe, te gjelber dhe blu . Ngjyra eshte llogaritur duke perdorur nje spekter reflektimi, e cila eshte e bazuar ne menyren se si Ceres reflekton gjatesi valore te ndryshme te drites dhe gjatesi vale diellore qe ndricojne ne Ceres.

Misioni Dawn menaxhohet nga JPL per Drejtorine e Shkences te NASA-s ne Uashington. Dawn eshte nje projekt i Programit ”Discovery” te drejtorise se shkences, menaxhuar nga qendra hapesinore Marshall e NASA-s ne Huntsville, Alabama. UCLA eshte pergjegjes per shkencen e pergjithshme te misionit Dawn. Orbital ATK, Inc, ne Dulles, Virxhinia,kane projektuar dhe ndertuar anijen.
